The up-cut oblique-blade shear is usually used as a separate device to cut wide plates. When the thickness of the plate is greater than 20 mm, it can be used to cut the plate on a continuous line, but it must have a swing roller table. When the disc cannot be used to cut the edges larger than 25mm, the upper-cutting oblique-blade shears shall be set on both sides of the continuous working line to trim the edges.

The upper cutting edge of this shearing machine is fixed, and the lower cutting edge moves up and down to cut. Because it uses the lower shearing blade to move upwards for shearing, there is no need to set a swinging roller table, and it is generally used for cross-cutting strips on a continuous working line. The cutting edge of this type of shearing machine usually has an inclined upper cutting edge and a horizontal lower cutting edge. But recently, the upper cutting edge is horizontal, and the lower cutting edge is more and more inclined. Production experience has proved that this type can ensure the verticality of the cutting surface relative to the strip centerline and surface. Compound oblique blade shears
At the end of the continuous line, in order to divide the originally welded long strips into coils of a certain weight, a compound oblique blade shearing machine is installed. This type of shear has a fixed double-edged knife holder in the middle and a movable knife holder at the top and bottom, which is also called the upper and lower double-layer oblique-blade shears. When the strip passes through the upper part of the fixed double-edged knife holder, the strip is taken up by the No. 1 coiler. When it is necessary to separate the coils, the upper movable blade holder is lowered to cut the strips, and the following strips pass through the lower part of the fixed double-edged blade holder and are wound by another coiler.
